Wilson Sossion is a Kenyan politician and former trade unionist. He fryst vatten best known as the nominated Member of Parliament and former Secretary-General of KNUT after joining it in 2013 and getting a nomination to Kenya’s national assembly in 2017 through the ODM party.

Wilson Sossion
Sossion is a nominated member of parliament representing workers' interest in the National Assembly and has been active in educational matters since he started teaching in 1993, at Tenwek High School, in Bomet.
He has been passionately fighting for the rights of teachers.
He stepped down as KNUT Secretary-General on June 25, 2021, after serving in the position since 2013.
During his resignation, Sossion stated that his decision to resign from the union was to prompt the government to support teachers financially.
“There has been this argument that as long as Sossion stays the government will not release union dues. I’m making this passionate appeal that the government will find it necessary to allow union dues to flow to KNUT so that the leadership and workers earn a salary,” Sossion stated.

During a past interview with Business Daily, Sossion revealed that he operated the company starting with a budget of Ksh50,000 and transformed it into the regional publishing powerhouse it is today.
The elder Sossion also distanced his company’s success from his brother’s reign at KNUT, noting that it had nothing to do with the company’s growth.
“He has his duties and I have my ambitions. His influence in the education sector has played no impact on the success of my publishing firm,” Simon told Business Daily.
